Orasis’ journey began in 2002 when Elizabeth gained interest in collecting works from Indonesian artists. Pelangi Nusantara Gallery started as a humble platform to accommodate her growing collection while at the same time sharing her love of art with friends and family.
With over a decade of experience, in 2022, Orasis relocated to a new building designed to facilitate multidisciplinary artistic practices. Reintroduced as Orasis Art Space, its mission is to offer more public program that is contextual, inspiring, and sustainable; improving cultural awareness and better life quality through the development of art and design.
Nowadays, through the development of art and design, Orasis wishes to contribute the enhancement of cultural appreciation and a better quality of life. One of the ways is Corner by Orasis, a retail space to accommodate a variety of interesting objects from the surrounding creative art ecosystem.
