Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Damien Chandra moved to Boston to earned his Associate Degree in Fashion Design at Fisher College Boston. Following that year, Damien moved to San Francisco, California, to attend Academy of Art University and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design in 2015. He also one of the selected students to present his senior year collection.
At Academy of Art University, Damien acquired creative and professional skills such as design development, garment constructions, and also creating design concepts with great sense of proportion and balance between innovation and wearability. His style and design direction has always leaning towards edgy designs with a dramatic flare, resulted from his affinity for pop culture and powerful, iconic women.
